The Hacienda
A record playing an audio segment from the New Years Eve party that took place at the Hacienda, Manchester in 1991. The tone arm of the turntable on which it is played is held back via an elastic band, allowing only a small section to be looped for a period of around nine to ten hours; the time in which it takes the groove of the record within that loop to entirely ware away, after which the record will become completely silent. The turntable on which the record is played is positioned opposite a television screen showing a twenty minute long video of the crowd that attended the night, which can potentially loop infinitely.

Together Sensation (Synesthesia)
- Synesthesia, a rare neurological condition whereby the stimulation of one sense simultaneously triggers the stimulation of another.
A record is mounted upon the turntable featuring a colour spectrum on one side and a series of musical notes on the other. Each specific note relates to that which is heard by a sufferer of the condition when faced with each individual colour. A small light installed within the turntable, positioned beneath the needle, allows each of the colours to project a beam of light at the exact point in which the note relating to that colour can be heard.

A circle was drawn on the location of each mountain, the diameter of which was equal to the amount of deaths that have occurred upon it using lines of blue, white, red, green and yellow - the specific order of the traditional Nepalese Prayer Flags that hang throughout the mountain range, used in order to promote peace.
